I had had no intention of making commercially – it is much more time consuming than other mugs I make due to having to painstakingly carve out the letters individually. I feared it would be too expensive (apart from the emailer who generously said ‘name your price’.) (I also didn’t want to spend days staring at the word Brexit.)
Having seen the interest and the many witty comments, I am now considering making a very limited edition numbered run. I haven’t worked out the cost yet. NB they will not be available in time for Christmas due to other orders and pottery courses.
I’ll upload some more photos in a few weeks as soon as it is glazed and fired.
