I love King Arthur stories, and I love Lev Grossman's The Magicians series, and I loved his new novel The Bright Sword. It's absolutely bursting with adventures, mostly focusing on the magical quests undertaken by the misfit knights who survived Arthur's battle with Mordred (and also offering a delicious take on the villainy that set that fateful clash in motion). Coincidentally, he just posted his thoughts on the character Nimue, who plays a major role in the novel (I guess I had no idea how her name was pronounced).
