BASING COURSE IN THE UK! Hello guys! Many of you have asked me about my base work and requested a workshop so I’m thrilled to announce my very first UK Scenic Base Effects Course. On this one day workshop I will teach you how to create a display quality scenic base using very simple techniques. I will show you how to pimp your base with loads of special effects including - Water droplets and splashes, spiderwebs, bubbles, icicles and water pools to name a few. After this 7 hour workshop you will have a complete, painted display quality base and be the envy of all your friends! The course includes: A wooden plinth Basing materials (glues, epoxy etc.) Demos and one to one guidance. The workshop will be held on Saturday 21st July in Chiswick, West London and seats can be booked through Journeyman miniature now. Don’t miss out! (WIP) Never painted windows on a space ship before. Wanted them to give the viewer the impression that it’s being flown over a desert planet terrain. But also wanted to add some surrounding stars reflecting to give a somewhat calming feel to them, without getting cheesy. I like the result but I feel like now I need to tie the rest of the ship in with them better. Also plenty of touch-up to do yet on this #starwarslegion T47. Really neat model
