Help me identify this short story: A near future sci-fi story about a young man who works on an island resort. He's a 'local' and the visitors are all mega-rich. When he was young he was shot several times in the back and he wore the bullets-which-didn't-kill-him on a necklace. He gets involved with a guest of the resort and thinks she's going to take him away but she steals his bullet necklace and abandons him.
