This article in Herald Leader discusses the booster's power at the university and in the state, and how fans are monitoring his jet as it seems to be traveling the country as part of an effort to recruit a new basketball coach. The article itself doesn't mention a shameful bit of gossip about the booster, but the newspaper published a letter to the editor that does.
And speaking of Kentucky, a swim coach was accused of accused of rape:
The lawsuit also states that Kentucky "was aware of [the coach]'s predisposition to harass young women" prior to officially hiring him.
According to [reports], Kentucky leadership received "at least three" reports in 2012, 2014 and 2019 of allegations against [the coach].
Some of these allegations involved [his] time at the the University of Toledo, where he served as head coach from 2004 to 2010.
