Northern "California high school football team forfeits season after players staged 'slave auction'"

Just days before the River Valley’s season was forfeited [related to the mock slave auction], Amador High School in Sutter Creek, also in Northern California, had its football team’s season canceled. The Sacramento Bee reported the Amador County Unified School District canceled the team’s season because of an investigation into a “highly inappropriate group chat” on Snapchat called “Kill The Blacks” that involved a majority of the team’s players.
