The article. (Diamond Age was a good book.)

we did it you guys, we really did it. you should all be proud of this legacy we put enough goblins and misc goober creatures into the cumulative cultural corpus that they'll be semantically linked to programming at a deep neural level for millennia. your reconstructed eidolons will remember this

SXSW used an AI-powered trademark tool to systematically and automatically censor negative posts about it on Instagram. Very wild that this is possible. And great to have a @kitoconnell.com article on 404 Media www.404media.co/sxsw-used-ai...

They’re basically admitting that creating nonconsensual deepfakes of women is not an unintended outcome of this technology but rather its main selling point, which some of us recognized all along

Why is a three-year-old Joe Russo interview about A.I. being recirculated today?

The other thing about the Russo AI Marilyn Monroe quote is it's 2 years old and it's recirculating because they said this would happen in 2 years which is now. Nothing like it exists and OpenAI just got out of the video generation business a month ago because it wasn't working out money wise
