View this post on Instagram I wasn’t sure how much I would be pushed outside of “the box” by being on a show like this... I enjoyed many of the challenges on “Blown Away” but The Pop Art challenge took me somewhere I never would have gone with my work. I am so glad it did. If interested please email me directly. View this post on Instagram THE COLOR OF FRESH was made during Blown Away’s pop art challenge for episode #6. CONCEPT: A staple of personal hygiene, the toothpaste tube, inspires “The Color of Fresh”. The sculpture turns the last frustrating squeeze of the tube into a seductive reverie. In keeping with pop art tradition, wit and irony as an artistic strategy pervade in a large voluptuous ooze of multicolored toothpaste paired with an exhausted and shriveled (real size) tube emblazoned with the word FRESH. This piece uses glass to sensualize toothpaste and manufacturers do the same in their consumerist ploys to sell more product.. . . @blownawayseries @netflix @marblemediaofficial A post shared by Deborah Czeresko (@dczeey) on Jul 25, 2019 at 1:44pm PDT
View this post on Instagram ‘Step into the Light’ I believe that there is a lot of power in simply being yourself, even if it offends people. We are all created to be unique and it’s an incredible moment when we can allow ourselves to be genuine in who we are. ‘Stepping into the light’ for me means that I can rest and know that I’m infinitely loved and accepted by God without needing to change a thing about myself. Learning to love myself like this is where the real power comes from. What does stepping into the light mean for you? . . . @blownawayseries @marblemediaofficial #blownaway #teamleah #episode3 #iconiclighting @iconiclighting A post shared by Leah Kudel (@suspended_studio) on Jul 27, 2019 at 9:07am PDT
