33.9 percent of applicants passed the February 2022 California General Bar Exam

This year’s 33.9 percent pass rate on the General Bar Exam was a drop of nearly 8.9 percent from the February 2021 pass rate of 37.2 percent, but higher than the February 2020 pass rate of 26.8 percent.

I’ve received some thoughtful pushback noting that this is a February exam that has lower pass rates than July, that accredited schools have higher pass rates, as do repeat takers. All good points. But *none* of these subset percentages should be OK: https://t.co/MhEik8IeK0
