I went a little bit mad designing the secret maps to Castle Dracula. When Harker finally manages to piece it all together, I made it so that the completed plan takes the shape of the Count’s dragon crest. Took some doing, I can tell you... pic.twitter.com/NnGj71rbaR— Richard🦇Wells (@Slippery_Jack) January 6, 2020
...Worth mentioning that I made sure the map included an accurate depiction of @arwelwjones' incredible set, with the insane sweeping staircase leading through into the dining room with the fireplace at one end... pic.twitter.com/7B5azD6M2O— Richard🦇Wells (@Slippery_Jack) January 6, 2020
...I enjoyed making the various documents Jonathan Harker brings to Transylvania. Note the space where the Count needs to sign and add his seal. It tickles me to imagine Dracula having to deal with the mundane admin of a house purchase... pic.twitter.com/pArs6IZGQA— Richard🦇Wells (@Slippery_Jack) January 8, 2020

I read the remaining door is currently held at Bucharest Art Museum, if anyone wants to check it out. We added a reference to the tale in Dracula, with some of the carved door panel detail included either side of the gates to Sister Agatha’s convent. Niche..! pic.twitter.com/PhiOKxsIOb

Loved these! I always did wonder whether Hawkins knew what Harker was going to experience and faked his gout so he didn’t have to go...— Tracy (@literaryrose) January 3, 2020

If you're feeling worried about how little you've achieved, remember that Bram Stoker didn't write Dracula until he was 50, and Dracula didn't kill anyone until he was dead.— Charlie Dinkin 🕷👢🔮🛁🛎 (@CharlieDinkin) January 3, 2020
