This is one of those genius things that you didn't quite realize needs to exist until it does. Imagining a coffee table book, with pages for cities all over the world, wiki, etc. https://t.co/5RVxddHRfy— John Wiseman (@lemonodor) September 17, 2020
#omaskitchenfloor Oma was the name I called my grandmother. She put the lino down in the 1960’s and over four decades her feet gradually wore through the decorative pattern. Over the years marks appeared in front of the oven, the sink, the front door, where she turned around in front of the fridge, where she sat at her table shuffling her feet. Like a drawing made over forty years, these worn patches describe half a lifetime of movement.

For Lauren Bacall's birthday: the magazine cover that started it all. Slim Hawks saw it. Showed it to her husband, Howard Hawks. Hawks saw what Slim saw and he brought her out to Hollywood and catapulted her into superstardom with TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT. She was 19 years old. pic.twitter.com/HsXC0LOHsq— Sheila O'Malley (@sheilakathleen) September 17, 2020
